Malborough is often the first district people encounter of the South Island on their journey through the beautiful Malborough Sounds on the Inter-Island Ferry from Wellington.

Picton is the seaside port that welcomes visitors crossing from the North Island to the South Island and is a lovely town to spend a few hours walking around before or after your trip on the ferry.
