Takaro Lodge, a member of Select Hotels and Resorts

rejuvenation spa located next to New Zealand's Fiordland National

Takaro Lodge offers ten unique luxury
apartments in five chalets with thatched grass roofs which have been
designed according to the Chinese Five Element theme of wood, fire,
earth, metal and water. Guests receive advice on which is the most
suitable apartment to enhance their wellbeing and health. All
apartments feature a Jacuzzi bath or jet showers, King or Queen sized
beds, home theatre with surround sound and high-speed internet
connection. Balconies overlook the Upukerora River Valley and majestic
mountain ranges.

are available at Takaro's Energy Clinic, including a "5 person
massage" which Vogue has called "the best massage in the
world". Amenities include indoor pool, Jacuzzi, Steam Room ,
Sauna and fitness centre. The wellness theme extends to the restaurant
which offers its own organic vegetables and water, cheeses, meats and
bakery.
